Was established in 1963 and is now known as Restaurante Canonigos and from 1991 started the journey with us, a catering family originally from the north of Burgos.

This privileged site belonged to the Order of St. Jerome and already existed befote Felipe V fell in Love with the area. Later it passed on to be property of the royal family and accommodating palace staff.

After having suffered four fires the building of Los Canonigos conserves the period form: square floors, interior courtyard with galleries and half point arches and a central fountain. The last reconstruction was made in 1963 and the place now occupied by the restaurant belonged to the old woodsheds of the building.
